About

Hi, I'm Kristy.

A licensed therapist, educator, and guide who believes healing is possible for everyone — and that every person's story deserves to be heard with care.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about people and a desire to help others thrive. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with children, teens, young adults, and families in a variety of settings, including schools, camps, foster care, higher education, and private practice.

In addition to my clinical work, I teach and mentor graduate students preparing to enter the counseling profession. I love helping people learn, grow, and discover their strengths, whether that's in a classroom or a therapy session.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach, creating art, dancing, exploring different cultures, and making memories with family, friends, and the children in my life. These experiences help keep me grounded and connected to the things that bring meaning and joy.

I believe some of life's most meaningful growth happens through curiosity, connection, and the courage to keep showing up, even when life feels hard.

What Matters to Me

The values that shape my work.

Authenticity

I show up as myself — and I'll always invite you to do the same. Real therapy happens when we're both willing to be honest.

Courage

Healing takes courage. I will walk beside you every step of the way, honoring the bravery it takes to look inward.

Compassion

For the version of you who has been carrying so much. Healing begins where shame ends — in a space of genuine compassion.

Curiosity

We get curious about what's underneath the anxiety, the patterns, the protective behaviors. Curiosity opens doors that judgment keeps closed.

Connection

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of change. I invest in understanding you — your story, your family, your world.

Growth

You are not who you were, and you are not yet who you're becoming. We honor the whole arc of your journey.
