WELCOME
Are you looking for a safe space to sort through life's chaos? Searching for a therapist who truly feels like a fit can be exhausting—and I’m genuinely glad you’re here.
I consider it an honor to walk with individuals and families as they face life’s challenges with courage. I respect the vulnerability it takes to share painful or unhealed parts of life and approach therapy with compassion and a trauma-informed lens. Together, we’ll navigate the challenges you’re facing and work at your pace toward greater freedom, resilience, and meaningful change.

You are never too old to set another goal
or to dream a new dream.”
C.S. Lewis
ABOUT ME
Serving Clients Since 2012
Hello, I’m Kirstin Fowler, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#155570) based in Orange County and Palm Desert, California, offering telehealth sessions to individuals and families seeking healing and growth. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, young adults, and parents navigating the effects of trauma, grief, and loss, as well as individuals impacted by traumatic brain injuries.

Since 2021, I have also taught and mentored graduate-level psychology and counseling students, which has deepened my passion for equipping others with tools to thrive. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and am completing advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), both of which allow me to integrate evidence-based approaches with a compassionate, client-centered style.

My goal is to create a safe and collaborative space where clients feel understood and supported as we work together toward resilience, healing, and meaningful change.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process
is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.”
Brené Brown

My Approach to Therapy
Every client brings a unique story, and I tailor therapy to honor that individuality. I enjoy getting to know each person I work with and take a collaborative approach that emphasizes safety, respect, and curiosity. Drawing from evidence-based modalities such as TF-CBT, EMDR, family systems, and experiential techniques, I adapt treatment to align with your goals, personality, and pace. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance and feedback while creating space for self-discovery, healing, and meaningful change.
Fees
My standard fee is $200 for a 45–50 minute session.
The fee for an initial intake session is $250, which typically lasts 60–75 minutes.
I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointments for clients with financial need. If this would be helpful, please ask about current availability during your initial phone consultation.
Insurance
At this time, I do not accept insurance. However, many healthcare plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy services. If you would like to explore this option, I can provide you with a monthly superbill (an itemized receipt of services) that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
